Avian Tests and Price List
The following table lists routine tests required for poultry and other avian quarantine testing.
It is important that you discuss test requirements with the Department of Agriculture.
* Where 2 prices are listed, the first price applies to the fee for the first animal tested in a submission; the second (lower) price applies to the fee charged for 2nd and subsequent animals as part of the same submission.
** APMV-1 is also known as Newcastle Disease Virus
*** Infectious Bursal Disease Isolation requires 2 component tests – virus isolation and PCR, which are charged separately. Samples for PCR are derived from the virus isolation.
